THESE TERMS APPLY TO ALL USERS OF TRIBEPAD OR ANY OTHER WEBSITE CONTROLLED BY HACHETTE FROM WHICH A LINK HAS BEEN CREATED TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

“Tribepad” means Hachette UK Limited’s applicant tracking system used for the recruitment and selection of candidates applying for jobs at Hachette UK Limited and affiliated companies within the Hachette UK Group of companies and the UK Companies within the Lagard─Śre France Group  (each a “Hachette UK Recruiting Entity”) and is accessible at https://apply.hachette.co.uk

“The Websites” means Tribepad and other websites owned or controlled by Hachette or an Hachette UK Recruiting Entity  from which a link has been created to these Terms and Conditions

“Hachette” means Hachette UK Limited


References to "the Websites" are references to all the websites and to each of them individually.

References to "we" and "us" are to Hachette UK Limited or the relevant Hachette UK Recruiting Entity as the case may be.  References to "You" and "your" mean the person using the Websites under these Terms.

 

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY USING THE WEBSITES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

WE MAY UPDATE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME AND YOU WILL BE BOUND BY ANY NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN YOU VISIT TRIBEPAD.

The information you submit as part of your application will be treated in the strictest confidence and only accessed by relevant parties in the recruitment process. These will include the HR team and the recruiting manager and any relevant IT support from Talent on View Ltd, trading as Tribepad.  Any diversity and equality information you submit will be used only for statistical monitoring on an anonymous basis. It is not part of the selection process. Should you wish to close your account at any time or after the qualifying period of 12 months from when you open your Tribepad account with Hachette your personal data will be anonymised and may be used for statistical reporting purposes.

The Information you provide as part of your application and on your candidate profile must be accurate. Hachette reserves the right to reject any application which is inaccurate or misleading.

Hachette will update you on the progress of your application by email to alert you of a change in status on your applicant profile in Tribepad. This may include invitations to interview, rejections and alerts for jobs in which you may be interested. You will be asked to log in to your account to reply.

If a recruitment agency submits your details to us to be considered for a role we will contact you by email to request your consent to proceed with the recruitment process.

 

Conditions:

  1. You should be aged 16 or over to register with Tribepad and use the platform

  2. All applications submitted must be your own work

  3. You will not submit any material which is intended to upset others or which is unlawful, obnoxious, indecent, profane, harassing, derogatory or rude or a misuse of private information;

  4. You will not submit personal information about another person or make attempts to solicit personal information from anyone;

  5. Any material that you submit will be relevant to the content in respect of which it is submitted;

  6. You agree that any content you provide will not contain any information about individuals under 16 unless you have obtained their consent or if under 13, the written consent of their parent or guardian.

  7. We reserve the right to remove your access to individual services completely if we believe you are not complying with these Terms and Conditions. Where appropriate, we reserve the right to report your details to the applicable law enforcement agencies.

  8. You must keep your password secret and secure and not disclose or share it to anyone. Hachette UK will not be liable in the case of any unauthorised access to your account in the event that your password has not been kept secure your loss. You should change your password by changing it on your account settings if you believe that someone else may have access to your password.  You should contact us immediately if you suspect that your profile has been breached or the security of your password compromised

  9. If you believe that material has been published on the Websites that does not comply with the Terms and Conditions, please notify us by sending us an email at recruitment@hachette.co.uk and include details of why you think the Material breaches the Terms and Conditions.

  10. You acknowledge that if you disclose personal information in content that you provide to any public forums on the Websites including bulletin boards and other comment or review functions, then that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from third parties.

 

Data Protection and Privacy

Hachette UK Limited or the relevant Hachette UK Recruiting Entity which is carrying out the recruitment activity is the data controller. Where Hachette UK is not the recruiting entity it will process your personal data on behalf of the Hachette UK Recruiting Entity

We may need to know your personal details including your name, address and email address to provide you with information or reply to your queries or for purposes in connection with your job application.

Tribepad can be linked to your social media platforms including LinkedIn to populate your applicant profile. We will only do this with your consent.

 

Rights

You acknowledge that all rights in the Websites and their contents (including but not limited to text, photographs, graphics, and downloads) are owned by or have been licensed to us or are otherwise used by us as permitted by applicable law. In accessing the Websites you agree that you will access the contents solely for your own personal, non-commercial use and you acknowledge that you are not permitted to copy, download, post, store in any medium (including any other website), distribute, transmit, modify or show in public any part of the Websites without our prior written permission or in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time or other relevant provisions which are or may be in force.  All brand names, product names and titles used in the Websites are trade names, and in some instances trade marks, of their respective holders. No permission is given in respect of use of any of the above, and such use may constitute an infringement of the holders' rights.

 

User-Generated Content ("UGC")

You may submit material for publication in comment areas of the Websites. We accept no liability in respect of any material submitted by any user and published by us and we are not responsible for its content or accuracy.
